Full of ideas and energy, realisticly idealist, proficient, multiple, sophisticated. 

Shaun Severi arrived in the early 90s’ in Paris to study at ESAG Penningen Art school and he never left. He learned the ropes of the advertising world as an Art Director at Ogilvy but after three years, made his way back to his first love, filmmaking. Shaun’s first films for VW and Amnesty won him several Lions in Cannes and launched his career as an advertising director.

In 2011 Shaun got a masters degree in screenwriting from the prestigious UCLA Film School in Los Angele and has since then divided his time between feature work and advertising.

Shaun has since written directed two short films, the award winning “CITIZEN versus KANE” and “There’s no “I” in team” which was selected by the Agence du Court Metrage as the pick of the crop for the 2011 Cannes short film corner. He also completed the television pilot and first few episodes for a short form program “NoWorkinJob” and the recently successful drama series FRAT for Canalplus group. He also directed the 5th season for Vous Les Femmes a popular french TV show which won an award at the French TV festival at La Rochelle. 

Shaun continues to work as an advertising director for such blue chip brands as Renault, Ikea, L’Oreal, Ford, Decathlon, Pioneer, Opel, Nissan, McDonalds, Visual and Eram and continues to develop his passion for comedy and dialogue in his future commercial films.

Shaun is also currently teaching Photography at the prestigious ESAG Penningen art school.
